The kingdom
of God pays the ultimate
price to posses the pearl; the price God was willing to pay to redeem us. 1
Peter 1:18 &19, says knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible
things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition
from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without
blemish and without spot. We can see that we cannot escape from sin and the
consequences brought by sin that is death, curse, sickness or poverty. Jesus
shed His precious blood through His death on the cross to redeem us. Then in, 1
Corinthians 6:20, For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your
body and in your spirit, which are God’s. We know God redeemed us from all sins
by the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Now our body belongs to God, we
must live our life pleasing to God.
