God's Word In Our Hearts

1. The very life and power of God is found in His Word. Through the Word, His tender love will receive us into intimated fellowship with Himself. From the Word, His love will give us what is needed for our weakness (1 Peter 2:2).

2. The heart is the temple of God. In the temple there was an outer court and an inner sanctuary. The outer court is understanding. It is kept in memory and reflection. From the court there is entrance into the innermost sanctuary and the door is faith. What I believe, that I will receive into my heart. Where this take place, there the heart becomes the sanctuary of God.

3. Learn the words of God by heart. Repeat them to yourself in the course of the day. The Word is seed, and the seed must have time, must be kept in the ground. Likewise, the Word must be carried in the heart. Give the best powers of your heart, your love, your desire, the willing and joyful activity of your will, to God's Word. - Andrew Murray

4. Once person is born again, God is not finished with him. After the new birth, the individual is turned over to the Holy Spirit for transformation. The tool of the Holy Spirit uses to bring about this transformation is the Word of God. When mind is renewed, one area of sol has been saved. The Holy Spirit relentlessly works to bring the whole man into God's perfect will. Enemy hates and fears the Word of God because this knowledge will cause us to become more determined than ever to make the Word of God a priority on our lives.

5. The Word Of God is the believer's sword and he must learn to apply it accurately. According to the Scriptures, satan seeks to build strongholds in our minds. Strongholds are lies that are believed. A person who believes a lie is deceived. When an individual believes that wrong is right, he has fallen into deception. Satan works through deception but the knowledge of the Word is the believer's defense and victory. The Word of God is the believer’s sword, and he must learn to apply it accurately. Holy Spirit helps us.

6. A person who learns to abide in the Word and let the Word abide in Him will have power in prayer. When an individual has power in prayer, he has power over the enemy (John 15:7)

7. We have authority as believers to bring heaven's will to earth by acting in partnership with God. He is heaven, and we are on earth. Because His Spirit in us and because we have His Word, we can know what His will is. We have authority on earth to bring heaven's will into action. What God binds or looses in heaven what He allows or disallows that and only that we can allow or disallow here in the earth.

8. Everyday you should speak the Word, pray the Word, love the Word and honor the Word. The Word of God is the two edged sword that is your weapon of offense with which you are able to defend yourself. If you keep your sword drawn, the enemy won't be quick to approach you.

9. Deeper the respect for the Word of God, deeper His presence will function among us. We should give the Word of God first place in our life. Let it be your final authority. We live by every Word of God (Matthew 4:1-4).  For us to stand, believe, use and live by the Word of God.

10. You first hear the voice of God from the Word of God, and then you develop hearing from God on the inside. Honour the Word of God, put as much Word of God when the need arises, the Word of God will rise up in you (Job 23:11 & 12). Repetition of Word of God should not bother you, otherwise it will knock out new truth.

11. Luke 10:38, Like Mary let us give the Word of God first place in our life. Let us prayer, "Father, I chose Your Word. I will feed on it daily. I respect Your Word. I am hungry and thirsty for Your Word. In Jesus Name."

12. Proverbs 4:20-23, There is life in the Word of God. There is transforming life in the Word of God. Life to those who keep searching. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God (Luke 4:4). Word of God nourishes, builds and strengthens just like natural food. God's word get back what is lost. Word of God is medicine to your flesh. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). Every Word of God contains life of God Himself. Spirit makes alive. When you apply word to our life, it makes alive. Hebrews 4:12, Word of God is powerful. Divine energy comes from the Word it affects your inner man. Your inner man works its way outside. Isaiah 55:11, Speak Word of God with faith.

13. Word of God brings life. It is weapon to stop, prevent and destroy the works of devil. Speaking Word of God in faith. Jeremiah 23 and Mark 11, whatever mountain you are facing in your life . Word of God is like hammer which breaks great resistance. Word of God like fire, it burns up situations.

14. God's Word makes you strong. Stronger spirit easier to receive. As food for the body, Word of God has proper nutrients to develop your spirit. Stronger your spirit, easier it will be to resist sin. Also, when we stand in the Word not be moved anything. How do you know you are strong in the Word of God? Spiritual indicator is faith. When you faith in God is high, then that means your word intake is high.

15. Proverbs 6:24, Word of God will lead/guide you. When you put Word of God more into your hearts, it will talk to you. This will give you counsel. When you read Word of God, apply the Word of God you read daily b praying to God to help you.

16. We should give the Word of God first place. We do it by believing the Word of God even when our feelings and circumstances is against us. God wants us to take into higher degree of faith. Drawing back is not our way but our way is those who believe.

17. Meditate the Word is to ponder, to consider, to imagine, to read the scripture, to think and ponder the scripture. Muttering (saying under your breath) or Speak Word (confessing the Word out loudly).
