Shed Blood Of Jesus Christ

1. Blood we have today is not the same we have today is not the same blood God originally gave humanity. When mankind rebelled against God, its nature became corrupt and its blood became tainted. But by Adam's sin, his introduced death into the human life. Since the Life is the Blood (Leviticus 3:17; 17:11) and wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), sin affected blood of Adam and caused him to die. Blood of all men partakes of the sin of Adam, it can be cleansed by the application of sinless Blood of Jesus Christ. - Baxter, Whyte & DeHaan

2. For it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul (Leviticus 17:11). Atone signifies that as result of Jesus's actions we are reconciled to or at one with our Heavenly Father. The blood of Christ alone is sufficient to fully atone for sin. Jesus had no need to offer sacrifice for His sins, because He was our sinless Sin-bearer. The sacrifice He made of His own blood was presented by Him in the heavenly Holy of Holies, a sacrifice that never needs to be repeated. - Baxter

3. The cross is the centrepiece of God's eternal plan of redemption. Our heavenly Father not only foresaw Calvary, but He also arranged it. Jesus offered His very life, the ultimate supreme sacrifice. Christ's blood represents the perfect and completed sacrifice of Himself, which was offered for the sins of the world. His blood completely satisified that demand and effectively put awy the sin. - Baxter

4. Abel's blood rightfully cried out for retribution. His blood speaks of better things mercy, forgiveness and reconciliation. His blood pleads louder for you in heaven than all your sins can plead against you on earth. - Baxter

5. The blood of Jesus is also the "blood of sprinkling". This means that Jesus' blood is applied-applied to our hearts and lives, bringing forgiveness, peace and deliverance. The blood of Jesus Christ was poured out because only through it could we receive life. - Baxter

6. The covenant that God has with us is sealed by the blood of Jesus. Because of His blood we receive all the promises of this new covenant. The new covenant does not cover sin. It actually cleanses our consciences and frees us to live for God in peace and joy. Jesus our High Priest is fully qualified to fulfill His roles as Mediator and Intercessor. We have an accuser, who constantly opposes us and brings charges against us before th Father. Christ is our Advocate. - Baxter

7. In eastern lands during Bible times, it was customary for the groom to pay a price to the family of the bride for the privilege of marrying her. The truth is revealed here is that Christ paid the price for His bride, the church and the price was His own precious blood. As our Head provides wisdom and direction as the body carries out His work. Christ's blood gives life to His body. The church conveys a message of love and body conveys message of life. Bible Verses: Ephesians 5:25; Colossains 1:18; Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:12 & Matthew 19:5.

8. Pleading the blood means to invoke what Christ done on the cross over particular person or situation. A blood covering is provided through faith in God, prayer and belief in the covenant of God. We acknowledge and testify to the overpowering power of the sacrifice of Jesus on our behalf. God will look down from heaven will watch over and protect us. Demons flee at the blood of the Lamb. When we have memory of past sins, know God has forgiven us through Christ's sacrifice and His blood. - Baxter

9. Only Jesus' blood can redeem us. When Jesus sacrificed His life, there was agonizing pain. He had to carry the weight of the whole world on His shoulders, but He was willing to do it in order to save us from eternal separation from God. Jesus cover all your sins. The guilt is removed. We are justified by His blood. We have peace with God. We are sanctified through the blood of Jesus. This means we are made holy before God. Through Jesus blood those who believe in Him will survive death itself, they will live eternally with God. God is faithful to forgive you and cleanse you completely. He will give you the gift of His Holy Spirit, who will live within you and enable you to obey and serve God. You will become a part of God's own family and His angels will watch over you. - Baxter

10. Jesus' stripes - those powerful stripes that He took for our healing - His power is as real today as it ever was. By the power of the blood of Jesus, the demons loose people and let them go. Confess, "By the life and power of the blood of Christ Jesus, I take dominion over you, defeated satan. In the name of the Jesus Christ, you are going to loose me and let me go. By the blood of the Lamb that He shed to deliver us from the power of the enemy, I claim healing." When we speak the authority of the blood of Jesus Christ and actuate the power of the covenant of God, a battle will go on in the heavens and on the earth. The enemy cannot stand when you boldly proclaim the Word of God. Know that demons will flee and diseases will be healed. - Baxter

11. Blood of Jesus gives you the ability and power to overcome temptations. With the temptations of this world, we are susceptible to wandering, even sliding away from, the commitment we have made to Christ. That is why we need a daily cleansing in His blood. When we commit to being transformed into the image of Christ, we are fulfilling much of the purpose of the redeeming blood of Jesus.

12. When Jesus died on Calvary, He opened up for us the fountain of His blood. With that blood, we overcome the powers of darkness - the devil and entire spiritual underworld. Satan had no idea that the death of Christ would bring his defeat (1 Corinthains 2:7-8). Satan and his demons failed utterly at Calvary, they lost their claim on our souls. The blood of Jesus is an eternal reminder to them of their failed mission. They are now powerless over the souls of believers because of the blood of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:15).
