Journey To The Centre Of God's Will

“I will do whatever you say,” Ruth answered. So she went down to the threshing floor and did everything her mother-in-law told her to do (Ruth 3:5&6).

Ruth submitted to Naomi.

Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament), Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of the ages). Hebrews 13:20-21

1. God will make you what you ought to be to carry out His will. There is no better place to be in the very centre of God's will. We should not want our will, but His will. When you are walking in the will of God, that is being committed to the will of God. When you are in the right place, right time with the right plan. There will be provision and equipment to help you. There will be anointing, the power of God on us to help us to do, what we don't have ability to do within ourselves. The will of God is written in the word of God. Also, we have individual plan for our life.

2. "The truth is this, no matter how tightly we try to hold on to our plans or how hard we work to build our lives a certain way, and no matter how fiercely we fight against the things we may think are unpleasant, God controls it all. (Proverbs 19:21). The better we know God and the more closely we walk with him the more easy it will be to trust Him, when our plans are obviously not His plans. He is all wise. He is all powerful. He is so good that we cannot even wrap our brains around it and He is so generous that we have a hard time believing it is true. We have this assurance that He is good to his people in all His ways, and His purpose in what He does (the “why” behind the “what”) is both His glory and our good." - Jen Allen

3. The Lord’s plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken (Psalm 33:11).We have to submit to the will of God. Anything outside the will of God is vain (Psalm 127). Time, energy and resources are wasted. There are so many plans we make. It is walking in the God's perfect God's perfect will that causes us to succeed.

4. The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert, a highway for our God (Isaiah 40:3). We prepare for the will of God, by praying will of God. For that we should desire the will of God. Pray, "I want the perfect will of God." We can't be lazy in the spiritual walk with Him.

5. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work (John 4:34).  I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgement is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me (John 5:30). For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me (John 6:38). Our desire should be to do will of Him and finish His work. We are here for a reason for a purpose. Jesus did not seek after His own will, He was seeking will of the Father. This is what Jesus did. We follow Him. We seek the will of Father. Holy Spirit guides us. We are here to fulfil the purpose we have in our life.

6.  We are called according to His purpose (Ephesians 1:16 & Romans 12: 1-2).
Step up Step Plan:-
a. Realize it is God's will for you to know His will.
b. Receive God's will by faith. Say,"I trust you, God with my life without seeing anything. I believe I receive the perfect will of God (Mark 11:24)."
c. Waiting on the Lord, as you abide in Him. You will have assurance that you are abiding in God that you are in connection with God.
d. Spend time in praying and fasting.
e. Listen up! You are now in position to hear from the Holy Spirit. He will reveal God's perfect will for you. There is knowing on the inside as well as boldness, to do what you are called to do. As you seek Him through prayer and Word of God, He may give you desire in your heart.
